1. The Quickest, Easiest Way - Make an Online Donation!
2. Donate by check
Make out your check to "Renzi Education and Art Center" and mail to:
Renzi Education and Art Center
435 Egan Street
Shreveport, LA 71101
3. Donate in-kind supplies
We often need art, school, office, and cleaning supplies to implement our programs and maintain our facilities. Please refer to our Amazon.com Wish List to see what items we currently need. We sometimes have enough of one supply for the time being but need another item, such as a type of clay for a pottery class.
3. Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers will match your charitable donation, which can double or triple your donation amount to the Renzi Center. Check with your employer's Human Resources Office to see if your employer offers this benefit.
4. Gifts of Securities
A gift of securities such as stocks, mutual funds, and bonds, can provide attractive benefits in some circumstances. An outright gift of long-term appreciated securities (securities held for more than a year) avoids capital gains taxes and, in most cases, the donor obtains a charitable income tax deduction equal to the market value of the securities.
Donors who make gifts of appreciated assets should consult with their attorneys or tax advisors. Please contact us for assistance in arranging a gift of securities.
5. Gifts of Life Insurance and Planned Gifts
You can make a profound and lasting difference in at-risk youths' lives and futures by making the Renzi Center the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy and/or recipient of a planned gift. The simplest and most common planned gift is a bequest through your will or living trust, directing a percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount to the Renzi Education and Art Center. Please contact your attorney and financial advisor on making a gift from your estate; they can also describe the tax advantages your specific circumstances may have. The Renzi Center considers a bequest one of the highest honors a donor can bestow.
