The mission of the Renzi Education & Art Center is to provide FREE, high-quality after-school academic and art classes and summer camp to K-12 youth in the Shreveport-Bossier area, so that all children have the opportunity to explore, learn, and create, under the guidance of professional teachers and artists.
We dedicate our efforts - under the sponsorship of the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows and following the charisma of Elisabetta Renzi, their foundress - to establish an environment that will nurture creativity, self-esteem, and intellectual pursuit. The Renzi Education and Art Center is a community gathering place, a safe place for individual exploration and growth, and a haven for the creative spirit.
Programs
At the Renzi Education & Art Center, we believe ALL kids should have the opportunities to continue learning, experience and create art, and have fun after school. We offer a FREE After School Program during the school year to all K-12 grade kids in the Shreveport-Bossier Area.
Events
From Summer Camps, BUNCO, art shows, music concerts, slime booths and much much more! We keep ourselves busy being a part of the wonderful Shreveport-Highland community. Keep up to date with all the latest Renzi Events.
Volunteer
Our kids need you! They need your skills, your knowledge, your mentoring, and most of all, your encouragement. Whether you tutor Renzi students in the Homework class, help them mix colors in Painting, play with them before classes start, or just be their friend, you will make a lasting, positive impact on their lives.
